As I recall, from around the corner I heard Ian shout ‘I know a recipe for goat soup!’ Sadly for the greenery growing up the wall, the announcement had no effect on the goat, who continued munching away as if he had been invited to lunch.

That sort of fun was a large part of the charm of   The Farm Cooking School. To be sure we learned many great cooking techniques from expert chefs. But in the end, there was always a sense of fun about all the activities.
